Today I met with Miguel at Misha’s Coffee in Old Town Alexandria for coffee and scones. This is the second time we’ve met to discuss professional development. He spent a solid two hours with me (on his day off) to address my short and long term career goals, the best ways to network, and improving the resume and cover letter. Miguel was inspiring as we talked about declaring our objectives and ‘seeing it, knowing it.’ There is hidden treasure in the challenges.
