On October 11 I stopped by Creative i Advertising & Promotion to chat with Roger Tallman, a six-time Emmy winning composer. Creative i offers a variety of services including “creative strategy and identity development, TV and radio production, Web design and online marketing, and graphic design.” Roger graciously talked story about lessons he’s learned, recalling one of his best career moves as moving to LA and then New York, describing the urban environment as an “arena” with myriad opportunities and inspirations. Roger has a knack for making contacts in the upper echelons and it was amusing to hear how he shifted between LA and NYC, reaching the high rollers by saying he was in town for just a few days.
Roger is a family friend from Bay View and I much appreciate his inspiration.
Creative i is located on the edge of Petoskey’s business district, at 202 Grove Street in Petoskey in a beautifully remodeled house which serves as their office.
