As a member of the Events in D.C. for Young Professionals group, I signed up for the
Embassy Row walking tour along Massachusetts Ave. The group met at Dupont Circle
on a Sunday afternoon beside an outdoor street market. Norway’s embassy opened their
doors for our group. The décor fit the deep and rustic tones of a cozy Scandinavian winter.
Following the tour I strolled through downtown on Connecticut Ave., one of the truly urban
corridors of the city.
