In the summer of 2011 I collaborated with a Chinese NGO in one of the nation’s poorest provinces. IfChina Original Studio is a non-profit art and cultural organization that utilises film, photography, oral history, and theater productions to promote local culture and document history and realities from the perspective of ordinary citizens. We worked in Sanwan Village and Jinggangshan Mountain “red tourism” sites.
