Solar Eclipse Viewing
Thursday, May 9th, 2:20PM-5PM
on the lawn outside the Honolulu Zoo entrance
This Thursday we will be treated to a partial solar eclipse, with about 30% coverage at maximum. The eclipse starts at 2:23PM and will be over by 5PM, with the peak around 3:45PM. We will have telescopes with special filters, handheld solar viewers, binoculars, and a special solar telescope for everyone to enjoy this astronomical event. Please join us!
